Welcome to our Hotel Lohmuehle!

The following pages are for your information. If you have some more questions about Bayreuth and region please ask at the reception. Please keep your keycard with you if you go out at night, because we do not have a night auditor. Thank you.

A to Z - Register

All rooms in our hotel are NON-SMOKING ROOMS!
Will be smoked in the room, even if it is out of the window or unter the fan in the bathroom, we will charge at least a cleaning fee of € 100 per room.
We ask for your understanding, since we have guaranteed the same smoke-free room for after you arriving guests.

A

We would be happy to place a chair with a backrest in your room if necessary: If there is already a chair in the hallway, please take the chair to your room.

2/3 o`clock p.m. is the check-in time.

7:15 and lately up to 11 o`clock a.m. If you have to check out earlier, please pay your stay the evening before till 9:30 o´clock p.m. If you want to keep your room longer, please ask at the reception.

You can buy some at the reception.

We explain you gladly the way to the next pharmacy.

We overdraw your bed fresh daily. We charge € 10.00 per change per person. Please inform our employees at the front desk the evening before.

Please pay your bill till lately 11 o´clock a.m. We accept all usual credit-cards and cash. If your reservation was done by one of the internet-platforms please pay directly at the reception, because we do not charge your credit-card in advance. To keep the check-out paperless, please inform our receptionist about your correct mail-address.

Please put the “don´t disturb”-sign on your door, if you don´t like to get disturbed. You can shut your door with a turnkey. If our room-maids cannot handle your room up to noon because of the " Please do not disturb "-sign, we will place in front of your room door fresh towels and bottled water. We ask for your understanding.

You can buy stamps at the reception.

You can take some sheets and envelope at the reception.

We gladly iron your clothes on within an hour. Hand us your purpose garments out between 8:30 and 12:00 a.m. at the reception. We will charge €5.00 per small piece of clothing, €10.00 for a large piece.

Monday to Friday: If you drop off your laundry at the reception by 10:00 AM, it will be ready on the same day. The laundry list with prices and bags can be found in the cupboard.

Please provide our staff at the reception with the relevant credit card details (number, validity, and security code) and the email address for sending the invoice. You can also send it via email to: info@~@hotel-lohmuehle.de

We rent three bicycles: € 7.50 per bicycle per day.

Our bicycle parking lot with space for 18 bikes is locked and can be opened with a code during the day. It is permanently locked at night from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. You are welcome to borrow large chains and hoods.

You can make copies at the reception. Per page 0,25 €.

Our collegues at the reception hand gladly information to you about wellness, swimming-pools, golf …

We agree upon gladly a date with the next hairdresser for you.

Our breakfast-buffet is from 7 to 10 o`clock a.m. in our restaurant. If you have to leave more earlier, we will prepare a lunch-package for you.

We are happy to store your luggage with us in the reception area. Please give us a hint.

Do you need help with your baggage? Please contact the reception.

We serve drinks from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm in the public areas. You are welcome to take your drink back to your room.

You are welcome to get a stool for your bathroom. Please inform our staff.

Your domestic animals are cordially welcome. The room-rate for pets is €10.00 per day.

Our house has got WIFI in all areas.

You can buy several small cosmetic articles at the reception: €1.00 each

We accept: EC, Maestro, American Express, Visa, Mastercard.

Children with age up to 6 years sleep in their parent´s room for free. Please ask for children´s menus and drawing materials in the restaurant.
Our fountain in front of the hotel is not a playground because of rolling stones. Please care about your children and damages.

Gladly we bring you a further pillow, please ask at our reception. There is a selection of pillows for our guests. Please inform us about your wishes.

There is a nice blanket in each room´s cupboard. It would be very nice if it is maintained in inventory. Otherwise we will charge it with €50.00.

Chefin's Brainlight massage chair is in the new building on the mezzanine between the ground floor and the first floor. Please read the instructions and enjoy your treatment. Please disinfect your area before use. If you liked it, Chefin's little money box would be happy to receive a small donation fot energy costs.

The minibars have been removed. You will find drinking water in the carafe in your room. We have a water dispenser at the reception where you can fill your bottles for use in your room or to take into town. You can also use the carafe in your room. If you have a travel mug, please feel free to use it for hot water. Tea bags and sugar are also available at our dispenser. For refrigeration of medications or food, please contact the reception.

You will get information at the reception. Brochures and maps are there, too.

You can get some free sewing kit at the reception.

Non-Smoking areas are everywhere in the hotel and restaurant. Please note that all rooms are non-smoking. Failure to comply – also if someone smokes out of the window – will cause costs of one room-rate as no-show-/cleaning-fee. In front of the reception (with rooftop) and in front of the restaurant there are big ashtrays.

In case of emergency please call >>91<< at the telephone. If you need a doctor at night, we can help you to find out.

You can use our parking-lot. If you go inside the gate it opens automatically. To enter the parking you can use a coin or your keycard. You will get a coin at the reception or in the restaurant. The costs for parking you will see on the barrier.

Beginning with channel 1000 in your television.

You can get a shaving-set at the reception.

You can borrow an umbrella from reception. Please note that we only have a limited number available.

Our restaurant offers hot meals Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00pm to 9:30pm. Additionally, on Saturdays and Sundays, we are also open from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. On Sundays, our restaurant is only open for lunch. Our staff takes Sunday evenings and Mondays off! During the festival season, the restaurant is also open after performances (depending on when the shows end) and on Sunday evenings.
There may be slight variations. Please check our website www.hotel-lohmuehle.de for current hours.

7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. the employees at the reception are on duty. But you can phone us everytime around that time with the number >>91<<.

There is a safe with deposit boxes at the reception. For a fee of € 5.00 you can deposit your values. Therefore we have an insurance at “Ergo Insurances”.

You can make scans at the reception. Per page print-out 0,25 €.

If you like the shoehorn, please leave it hanging in the cupboard and order it from ‘IKEA’. Thank you very much.

Shoe-cleaner are at the ground floor.

You can borrow them at the reception.

CLIVIA Hand, Hair & Body Shampoo: A mixture of biodegradable anionic and non-ionic surfactants (based on native coconut oils), re-fatting agents, lanolin, collagen protein skin protection, auxiliary and preservative agents, fragrance, and coloring. Produced by Temca GmbH.

SKY-sport-channels can received till 02/2027 in the reception´s launch-area.

In Germany there is a voltage of 220.

Our breakfast knives, the Lohmuehle cellar beer, small pottery items, or regional spirits can be purchased at the reception. The self-produced Lohmuehle honey is also available at the reception (of course, only while supplies last).

We can order a taxi for your desired time.

If you need a socket adapter, a charger or a laptop in the room, please contact our reception staff. We have a small Number of different technical equipment in the reception. Please note, however, that these are only limited.

If the toilet in the bathroom is too low for you, please report to the reception. We would be happy to build an increase on the toilet seat the next day (limited number).

We have a water dispenser at the reception where you can fill your bottles for use in your room or to take into town. You can also use the carafe in your room. If you have a travel mug, please feel free to use it for hot water. Tea bags and sugar are also available at our dispenser.

Gladly we let clean your laundry, please deliver that at the reception. If we get it weekdays up to 10 o´clock a.m. you will receive it back at the same day. Attention: not on the weekend! You will find the cleaning-list and plastic-bag in your cupboard.

If you would like a personal wake-up service, please contact the reception. However, claims for damages due to omission are excluded (terms and conditions).

Z

In the hotel and restaurant, please scan the QR code to download newspapers and magazines to your device free of charge.

You can buy cigarettes in the Badstrasse no. 30

If you like to eat something on your room, please ask in our Restaurant to order. Therefore we charge € 5.00 for the service.
Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Lunch: 12:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (when restaurant is open)
Dinner: 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (not Sunday and Monday)
Please note the opening times of the restaurant on our homepage.

An extra blanket is available at the reception. Please make a telephone-call.

Alternatively, you can hang the appropriate sign on your door. If you do not wish to be disturbed, please hang the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the doorknob. Please note that in summer, our staff must water the flower boxes despite the signs.
