If you prefer it short and simple, the BMTG (Bayreuth Marketing & Tourism GmbH), where e-bikes can also be rented, has developed a few small and fine tours in and around the city of Bayreuth. Our favorite: The "large park round around the city center".

Out into the Bayreuth countryside (partly quite demanding!)
If you want to go a little further and have more variety – the komoot portal has a beautiful collection of longer tour suggestions that include great tours in the nearby low mountain ranges and/or along the beautiful river valleys in the region. Our favorite: The round trip along the Red Main Valley to the confluence of the Main (with the White Main) and back (54 km, 340 m elevation) called the "Main Confluence Round from Bayreuth".

Special tours for mountain bikers!
With the hills and mountains near the city and the unspoiled nature, mountain bikers in and around Bayreuth can experience some truly authentic soul rides! Our tip: The Ochsenkopf in the nearby Fichtelgebirge has developed into the epicenter of the Upper Franconian mountain biking world in recent years (also due to the newly renovated lift facilities that make it easier for downhillers to ascend for great downhill fun)!

Tours for road bike enthusiasts (on narrow tires, all on asphalt!)
Even road bike fans will find perfect conditions in our region. The komoot portal has a beautiful collection of longer routes that are fully paved, so narrow tires won't have any problems. Our favorite: The ride into the Franconian Switzerland (partly) along the wonderful Wiesent with a breathtaking view of Burg Rabenstein – found under "View of Burg Rabeneck Round from Bayreuth" (75 km, 680 m elevation).
