Beer garden and terrace
Right in front of our Bayreuth restaurant and hotel lies our hedged beer garden. Additionally, guests can enjoy our terrace behind the house, overlooking the beautiful Mühlbach. These two outdoor seating areas complement each other perfectly – as their different locations and slightly varying temperatures throughout the day allow every guest to find the ideally suited spot.
Beer garden
In our beer garden, you can unwind as a guest during the warm season and enjoy small or larger beer garden delicacies, or simply a freshly tapped beer or a refreshing non-alcoholic drink. For those who have never experienced Franconian beer garden culture, this is a central opportunity to do so – in a relaxed and stress-free atmosphere. Especially during the festival season or before or after a hectic business appointment, our beer garden offers a welcome alternative.
Two bright awnings cover the entire area, meaning all 48 seats are shaded. These awnings serve as a temperature buffer. In the height of summer, they protect against direct sunlight and provide cool shade – additionally, they enhance the enclosed feel-good atmosphere.
Wikipedia states: "The beer garden (also beer cellar and 'on the beer cellar') originated from the serving of beer... from a beer cellar... In a broader sense, the term 'beer garden' is also used for other outdoor gastronomic establishments." Nowadays, in most beer gardens, not only fresh, cool beer is served, but also many other drinks and especially typical beer garden dishes. Of course, we offer this as well!
Terrace
Behind the horizontally standing hotel building, right by the rushing Mühlbach, lies our terrace with 22 seats, also covered with a large umbrella. On very hot days, our stream cools the temperatures there! It's a particularly nice place to relax.
