Dining at the Lohmühle Restaurant in Bayreuth is a true delight. Here, you are guaranteed to find the perfect dish for every taste: international specialties, but above all, local cuisine at the highest level. Our delicacies from our own fresh fish basin enjoy a particularly good reputation – because you can't get fresher fish than this!
What do people eat in Bayreuth?
Our restaurant Lohmühle is considered an outstanding address when it comes to traditional Franconian and Upper Franconian specialties that are hardly found in other regions, or not at all, in this quality. It's important to note that since all dishes are prepared fresh daily, not all Franconian delicacies are always available on the menu at the same time – but there will always be something delicious for you to enjoy in rotation. Therefore, our tip is: Be sure to try the “Schäuferlä” (pork shoulder) with dumplings, Sauerbraten, Krenfleisch (with horseradish sauce), roulades, or one of our Franconian game dishes! Delicious!
